Blackburn Radio Inc. has donated $56,000 to establish the Martha Blackburn Journalism Entrance Scholarship. Paying tribute to the late Martha Blackburn and valued at $8,000 annually for the next seven years, the award will be the largest entrance scholarship offered by Western’s journalism school. Preference for the award will be given to deserving female students.
Committed to investing in the communities where it operates, Blackburn Radio is supporting Western among several other local charities as part of its successful bid to launch a new Adult Album Alternative music station in London, 98.1 Free FM.
