Q: How long have you been an advisor in this area?
A: 13 years.

Q: Do you have experience advising clients who have arranged planned gifts? For how many years?
A: Yes, 13 years.

Q: Do you have specialized training in gift planning?
A: I have been a solicitor practising for 14 years. Wills and Powers of Attorney are a sizeable portion of my practice. Previously I was a Wills consultant with TD Canada Trust.

Q: Have you made arrangements for a personal planned gift?
A: Yes, for a number of clients.

Q: What is your personal philosophy of philanthropy, and gift planning, specifically?
A: My role as their solicitor is to inquire if they are inclined to making a charitable gift, what charity/organization, and then draft the documents accordingly.

Q: How are you involved in your community?
A: Less for the last few years.

Q: Are you a member of the Canadian Association of Gift Planners locally and/or nationally? If so, for how long?
A: No.
