The Robert W. Hodder Chair in Economic Geology is close to having a Chair holder named.
A call was put out for candidates earlier in the year. After closing this past September a review of all applications took place. The selection process has narrowed it down to four outstanding candidates.
Over the coming weeks the process will unfold. It is hoped that by the new year a Chair holder will be in place. This accelerates the Initiative seeking to position Western as the premier institution in Canada for Economic and Energy Resource Geology studies.
