William S. Fyfe is a legend not only within the Earth Sciences department but around the globe.
Regarded by many as the father of modern geochemistry and global change, Fyfe has served Western as a professor since 1972 and as Dean of the Faculty of Science from 1986-1990. [more]
Dr. Burns Cheadle's appointment as the Bill Bell Chair in Petroleum Geology in the Department of Earth Sciences, brings him back to the school where he was awarded his doctoral degree in 1986. [more]
